Corrib.org is a cluster project, has been started on the base of cooperation
between DERI International and Gdansk University of Technology. So far, it
gathers together both open source projects being
developed based on that cooperations and people
affiliated to different sites.
All projects in Corrib.org are a building blocks for the Semantic Web. At the
moment 4 areas of interest are covered by Corrib.org:
digital libraries (JeromeDL, MarcOnt)
information retrieval (S3B,
JeromeDL)
user management and DRM (FOAFRealm)
distributed (P2P) systems (HyperCuP)
eLearning (Didaskon, S3B)
Corrib.org projects are a fusion of semantic web research and open source
project management. The results of the research part are frequently published
on major international conferences. The
project workspace consists of wikis, bug tracking environmet [JIRA], sf.net
project sites, mailing lists and netoffice project management environment.
